Abaqus
ETS currently offers both a research license and an academic license for Simula's Abaqus. The research license is a 9 seat license. While the academic license (for classroom and instructional use) is a 20 seat license.

ASU Citrix Environment
Description: Microsoft Windows client to access applications on the Citrix server
1: Use your favorite browser. Enter http://citrix.asu.edu in the address bar.
2: Log in with your ASURITE account.
3: Download and Install the CITRIX client on your PC.
a: In the Column labled "Websites" click on "Windows 2000/2003/XP/Vista Citrix Client Download"
b: Save the incoming file anywhere convienient. The file is a zip file.
c: Expand (unzip) the file then click on the file named "INSTALL.MSI"
ASU Computing Policies
ASU has several policies governing the use of its computers and equipment. Some of the most important are:
ASU Sets 180 Day Password Limit
Increased concern for the safety of university data, personal information, and identity management has prompted ASU to request more frequent replacement of ASURITE passwords. A 180-day time limit on ASURITE passwords has been set as a computing system standard for all ASU campuses. Faculty, staff and students are asked to act promptly to replace outdated passwords by using the Password Changer program (asu.edu/changepassword).

Automatic File and Folder Snapshots
Data Protection Features (Snapshot Technology)
Protecting the integrity of the schools important data from accidental deletion of files, application crashes, data corruption and viruses is critical to the Fulton School of Engineering. The NAS filer offers the school this type of data protection by using snapshot technology. Snapshot Technology makes online point-in-time copies of your original data. Snapshots are created for home directories, typically your H: drive, and shared department space, typically your S: drive.
